A VR journey through memories of a lost world

The Project

“Fragments of a Home” is an immersive VR narrative set in a submerged future Earth, where personal memory and planetary collapse intersect.

Blending environmental storytelling with interactive memory fragments, the experience places the viewer inside the perspective of a lone researcher navigating her memories. Through spatial exploration and tactile interaction, it invites us not just to witness the story, but to actively uncover it, and gradually piece it together.

Synopsis

After surviving a crash, a lone researcher, Siya, awakens inside a damaged pod with fractured memories. Following a clue pointing to her long-lost childhood home, she embarks on a journey with her loyal bot across a drowned future Earth. As past and present begin to overlap, her personal search becomes entangled with the fate of the planet itself, resurfacing memories of her mother and a long-deferred confrontation with grief, legacy and letting go.
